December what a month you have been! I don’t know why I am always surprised when another month ends.

I thought I would write my monthly post using a photo collage this time as a way to remember the fun we’ve had. My November post was more of a list.

We all love our christmas tree which always goes up on the 1st December to mark the christmas countdown.

MB really wanted a Elf of the Shelf and wrote a letter to Santa asking for one. That couldn’t be ignored could it! Off I go to Tesco to buy a cheapy Elf which we named Cracker Jack. His first night here and he got caught up in ribbon and hung from the staircase all night!

We went out with friends to watch The Nativity. It was fantastic! I’ve never seen the film before so I didn’t know what to expect.

We had snow! Not a lot but we had enough snow for the kids to have a snowball fight in the garden.

Ah and a lazy Sunday in our PJ’s wrapped up watching TV. Bliss!

I know the last picture looks a bit strange but they are in fact our first attempt at making gingerbread biscuits without a rolling Pin or shape cutters lol! We used a plastic sistema water bottle as the rolling pin and the lid as the cutter. They actually taste really nice!

I hope you’ve had a great December too!

It looks like you had a great December! I dread the day my two ask for elf on a shelf… it looks like you ended up having a lot of fun with it though. Have a wonderful new year!

Cracker Jack looked right at home and it is great that you were able to get an elf on the shelf. Also a lazy Sunday watching movies and hanging out in PJ’s sounds like my idea of fun x

Love the gingerbread picture :D:D:D I haven’t heard of the The Nativity but I will be on the look out for it now. We didn’t really get snow down south this year – just wind and rain. Hope you have a fun January and happy new year

My youngest loved it. She was really upset though when he went back to the North Pole. She wants to write him a letter bless her!

It sounds like you guys had a fab December. Can I ask a cheeky question? How did you find Elf on the Shelf? Oscar has asked if he can come and stay next year! Eek
